In October 2018, the Greentech Festival was just an idea conceived by former Formula 1 world champion Nico Rosberg and the Greentech entrepreneur Marco Voigt. But it all started back in 2008 when Marco Voigt and Alexia Osswald launched the Clean Tech Media Awards (now the Green Awards).
Today, the Greentech Festival has become a household name and go-to place for leaders in sustainable technology and transformation.
Marco Voigt said: “It’s about time that we finally bring together all those who can make moves in green technology: start-ups and corporations, environmental activists and politicians, researchers and CEOs, crown princes and completely average consumers.”
Nico Roseberg added: “That’s the only way to bring the enormous potential of green technologies to life. We need to inspire and captivate as many people as possible. We have to grossly accelerate the positive change.”
