What defines 350PPM

Our Mission, Vision and Values

Our vision is to assist, by all capitalist means, in the reduction of CO2 in the atmosphere to 350 parts per million (350 PPM) and to reduce CO2e (carbon dioxide equivalents) to the same levels.
Our mission is to incubate and accelerate topflight early-stage environmental businesses to attract institutional funding for them within 24 months of our involvement.

Nicholas Dimmock

Chairman

As founder of our business, Nick is the visionary behind the 350 PPM concept, and works with our board to deliver the strategy – to assist, by all capitalist means, in the reduction of CO₂ in the atmosphere to 350 parts per million by incubating and accelerating some of the world’s most exciting early-stage environmental businesses. Having worked in the environmental sector since 2007, Nick also often takes on the role as Head of Investor Relations on behalf of our client companies.

Helen Passfield

Asset Development

As a professionally qualified accountant (ACMA), Helen provides the backbone of accounting, finance, company secretarial, process and governance support to 350 PPM and clients. Thanks to her in-depth experience as a portfolio director in the renewable energy industry, she also facilitates asset management for Megawatt Mosaic.

Paul Vousden

Client Development

A successful entrepreneur turned business consultant, Paul’s role is to seek out and bring new clients to 350 PPM – identifying early-stage environmental businesses with the potential to make a significant impact in the fight against climate change. In addition to overall account management of our clients, he develops business plans and works with investors to secure funds for client growth and acceleration projects.

Alexandra Ellison

Head of Corporate Services

Using her excellent organisational and creative skills, Alex ensures the smooth operation of our administrative and office management functions. Her extensive experience in corporate financial institutions ensures her attention to detail, can-do approach and excellent client management skills help to support the whole team in the delivery of our wide range of client services to support company growth.

Investor Relations

With extensive experience in the investment banking sector and developing strong client relationships globally, Amanda is responsible for handling enquiries from shareholders and investors, as well as others who might be interested in investing in any of our client portfolio businesses.

Head of Marketing

With more than two decades of experience in marketing, PR, media and digital, Jane leads both the strategic planning and operational delivery of marketing plans for 350 PPM and our client portfolio. Her expertise supports businesses to reach their growth potential through well-thought-out brand development and awareness raising campaign implementation.

Colm works on expanding our network of private funders as well as researching and connecting our clients with public funding and grant opportunities and incentives.

As a specialist in the Internet of Things and an expert IT engineer, Aleem delivers digital infrastructure support including the management of our Microsoft systems, web development and hosting, growth hacking strategies and the provision of secure data collections and management solutions across the business.

An award-winning videographer and multimedia creator, we rely on Aeron’s skills and resources to support marketing and investor relations campaigns with engaging and compelling content that helps us to communicate the clients’ proposition.

We are a member of the UK Business Angels Association, the trade body for angel and early-stage investing that helps to connect the ecosystem from seed to series A by working with leading organisations to bring about meaningful change.

350 PPM is a signatory of the Principals of Responsible Investment and we abide by the code of conduct

Code of conduct

We believe that environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) issues can affect the performance of investment portfolios to varying degrees across companies, sectors, regions, asset classes and through time. We also recognise that applying these principles may better align investors with the broader objectives of society.

As an official signatory of the Principals for Responsible Investment, we are committed to:

  1. Incorporating ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes.
  2. Being active owners and incorporating ESG issues into our ownership policies and practices.
  3. Seeking appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities in which we invest.
  4. Promote acceptance and implementation of the Principles within the investment industry.
  5. Working together to enhance our effectiveness in implementing the Principles.
  6. Report on our activities and progress towards implementing the Principles.
