Jack Welch built GE by growing shareholders.

Jack Welch built GE by growing shareholder value steadily, through acquisitions and through stripping anything that scored under 7/10. At EnviraBoard, they’re taking a page from that playbook. Although they are not planning any acquisitions, EnviraBoard shareprice has moved steadily, in line with real business developments: • 4p in Q3 2024• 6p in Q4 2024• 7p in Q3 2025• 9p in Q4 2025 We held back the move to 12p in Q4, anticipating that keeping it at 9p would slingshot us into 2026. Why EIS will survive the budget

The Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) is a UK government initiative aimed at encouraging investment in early-stage, high-growth businesses. To qualify, companies must be small, unlisted, carry on a qualifying trade, and employ fewer than 250 people. Investors can put up to £1 million per tax year into EIS-eligible companies and receive significant tax benefits, including income tax relief, tax-free capital gains, and loss relief if the investment performs poorly. Companies must use EIS funds within two years of issuing shares or beginning trading. EIS is a great boost for start ups as it attracts much needed investment in innovative companies at a [...]
